Control Mechanism defunct hospital
the clan system and empowering individuals to set their higher performance standards themselves is crucial for knowledge and innovation. It's interesting that you worked at a hospital. The effective control system was once used on me I believe. There was an instance where I was at my horrible nursery/garden center job and I was taking care of a Dracena (Indoor plant) right in the corner of the greenhouse. I was wearing a ball cap and when I jumped to reach a dead leaf hanging on the stem that made it look unpresentable to display for customers. So I happened to be in the corner of the room when I jumped the brim of my cap screened what was right above me, and I jumped right into an ibeam head first. I thought I just had a bump, and I felt fine. later that day, I was a bit tired, and dizzy. (LAter I realized that job always made me tired and dizzy, but this particular day dramatized it a lot) and I drove to the ER. They asked what happened I told them I bumbped my head on a beam at work. they made me get a cat scan. (Which was my first, and was a nerve racking ordeal) I kept thinking to myself, Won't this possibly give me cancer? They told me the results showed there was nothing wrong with me and sent me home. a few weeks later I got a bill in the mail for the cat scan. I couldn't believe it, It should have been sent to my workplace, (Which I had quit a few days earlier to recieving the bill) and not to me. The cat scan I felt was a lousy control mechanism to which prevented any lawsuit from happening on my part, but why was this over a $1,000.00? I was annoyed. Still am, and will never go back to that hospital for anything ever again to this day.

I spoke with a representative from a collection agency who represented the hospital. I explained that Everything that happened in the hospital was less strenuous as what "The collection Agency" was putting me through, and I didn't feel bad. I never got the insurance info from the previous employer, I told the collection where they could find it, and they should use their excessive efforts to research the real partners in their crime. And I haven't heard back from them ( almost 4 years ago).
